Christmas break is over, and it was back to school today. It felt to be moving around. I've spent way too much time sitting over the past two weeks!
I finished off the cross stitch piece for Ashley today. It looks more square in person. This was one of those times when I just couldn't get a good picture. I can't wait for Ashley to see it!
I only managed to tat one Ice Drop today. I think I may try an extra row of chains tomorrow. I spent some time organizing shuttles and found that I had quite a few of Rita Richmond's shuttles that didn't have thread on them. I need to remedy that!

The elephant looks very elephant-like when made into a pillow! Looks great and I bet she'll be happy.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't get the wind that's blowing through the 'cities. It's CRAZY! (right, Michelle and Cindy?)

Wouldn't you know, Ashley missed the first day back to school... the flu bug has hit. I think she will like it.
DeleteIt's pretty windy here, so the house feels super cold. It's a long underwear kind of day!
The elephant now looks well-fed 😉
ReplyDeleteAshley has amazing drawing skills and you have done justice to it in thread.
Ashley is a very talented young lady! She shows me her sketchbook at lunch when she has new ideas.
DeleteAshley will be delighted to see her sketch turned into a picture, you are clever!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she will love it! She's such a sweet girl!
DeleteShe will love her elephant!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat Ice Drop!! :)
