Blogger is working this morning! I didn't change anything. All I did was read loads of complaints about the new interface. I saw no solutions. Someone must have been paying attention and fixed what was broken!
I can even upload pictures! It looks like I can get back to crafting now, and I can look for that Danish cross stitch book. Where did I put it?
You know, Diane, I always heard "when it ain't broke, don't fix it." I just sent a comment to them to make the icons in the editor in color again. It was so much easier to find what you wanted when they didn't all look alike.
ReplyDeleteA Danish cross stitch book. Is that a raspberry Danish? Hehe.
I agree, Tim! I've been using Blogger for thirteen years, and I saw no reason to change it. Haha! I could go for a raspberry Danish right now!
DeleteI did my entire post yesterday in the new interface. Some things required time to realise a few things. And I had to switch to my tablet to change the url colour (in text). Some frustrating time spent, but not bad overall.
ReplyDeleteGood for you - nice pic 💚
I had no trouble with the new interface in Chrome, but I prefer to use Safari. I couldn't do anything in Safari until this morning. Someone must have fixed something!
DeleteOh good. I have to say I haven’t noticed any changes, perhaps I’m not paying enough attention.
ReplyDeleteThe changes don't seem to be major ones. I'm not quite sure why any changes were needed at all!
DeleteWhen I noticed the changes in Blogger, I consulted my tech support (Daughter and Son in tech jobs) for any tips. They both looked at the new interface and gave me some tips on how to get done what I wanted to do. Well, just one: find where to ask for the legacy button. I suppose I'll have to figure it out one day.....
ReplyDeleteI found the legacy button fairly quickly, but if I'm reading it correctly, the legacy version will disappear at the end of this month!
