My friend Denise told me about Ewenicorn needles by Addi. They have a spiraling texture that is supposed to help ease your knitting. I finally ordered some, and they arrived in Friday's mail. Today I tried them, and I am really pleased with them. I'm not sure that they made my knitting any easier, but they're very nice needles.
My sister and brother came to visit today. Dave made biscotti. I made soup. We retold lots of family stories and had a wonderful day. I kept knitting wrist warmers. The pattern is so simple, I don't need to do more than just knit. So, I finished one and a half pairs. I'm going to see if I can finish another one before I go to school tomorrow, which means I'll be able to pass out two pairs of mitts. With only three more pairs needed, I should be able to meet my goal of passing them all out this week!
Great continual progress!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue!
DeletePretty knitting needles with an unusual name. Oh! I just figured out it's pronounced like "unicorn", lol. Bright, cheerful wrist warmers and I bet they're much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteTwo of the high school boys requested hot pink, so I have to get another skein. The wrist warmers have been quite popular!
DeleteI like knitting while chatting with visitors.
ReplyDeleteIt's especially nice when I don't have to think much about the pattern!
DeleteLOL, when I read the title, I thought you meant a female unicorn! Got me thinking 😁
ReplyDeleteDoes the spiral not hurt the thumb/finger over time?
