I woke up early again today, and I managed to get a good start on round 9 of Renulek's Spring Doily 2026. I'm back to using Lizbeth #640 Antique Violet Med. This is a simple round, so I think I'll get it done in a couple of days.
Six more quilt blocks are done for a total of 12. If my math is correct, I need 48 blocks to make a lap throw. That means I have 1/4 of my blocks quilted.
I still have quite a few doodads, so I'm going to continue tatting doodad ornaments with the goal of using up these particular findings by the end of March.
I've decided that for the month of March I'm going to concentrate on Renulek's Spring Doily 2026. I don't know if it's possible, but I'd like to try and finish it by Easter.
Have you set any goals for yourself?
I need to finish gloves for an order an then I’ll think about the next goal. Your projects are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI’m always setting myself targets too. Latest is to finish a jumper so I can go back to tatting!!!
ReplyDeleteI set goals for how many of each item I want to have in my 'end-of-year gift stash' each year. Usually I meet them, but if I don't, the goals are higher than what I actually *need* to have, so I still have always had enough each year. I don't usually set goals for large projects that are for *me.* The goals are just for the gift stash, so I'm not tatting frantically on Christmas Eve again.....been there several times, and it wasn't something I want to do again if I can avoid it. :-)
