This time I managed to join in all the correct places, and I didn't snip any picots! This is a good thing, because I wanted some new coasters, and snipped picots would have called out to me constantly!
Now I need to work on my centering techniques, but overall I'm very happy with my new coaster!
Very pretty. I can't believe this is the first time you snipped a picot! Doesn't it make you so mad? Nice coaster.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane, I really like this motif, it looks great in the coaster. I have not heard of this book "Tatting" by Sheila York before. Is it new?
ReplyDeleteThis Lizbeth Mocha thread looks so rich. I wonder how it compares in color to the mocha flora? Is the Lizbeth a richer brown than the Flora thread?
Happy Tatting!
Looks GORGEOUS!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThats a project I wnat to try. I have to find a motif I can do first that's the right size but I want to make coasters :)
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! But then all your work is!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...another 25 motif challenge may be in order - with 25 different motifs?!?

ReplyDeleteI love how you could not live with the snipped picot! Ahhh, another Type A! : )
It really looks good Diane, and how quickly you got it done.

ReplyDeleteThe coaster looks great. Very nice piece of tatting.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane! Ooh, I like! I can't believe you've never snipped a picot before. Wish I could say that. Ha!
ReplyDeleteThe coaster is so pretty. I can't find that type of coasters here.
ReplyDeleteStopping bye to say thank you for entering my giveaway. Good luck to you in the drawing.
Lovely coaster, Diane, only 3 more to go. I love this idea, but I can't seem to find the coasters, rulers and other things I see people put their tatting in.
