At school, that is... I only have two shelves left to inventory. I know I could have stayed late today and finished up, but I'm enjoying taking my time. After all, it is the last time!
I did manage to spend some time on my Spinning Wheel glass mat today. I think I will easily finish this one by Friday!

Your retiring? Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteYup, after 31 years of teaching. I stayed home for 11 years before taking a teaching job, and I'm glad I did!

ReplyDeleteI've tatted that mat a few times in the past. I still want to try doubling it's size though.
ReplyDeleteI've thought about doubling it as well. I wonder how that would work?
DeleteWait - does this mean you might be able to come to Palmetto Tat Days?!?!?! Would LOVE to see you there!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on it! I'm saving my pennies!
DeleteI am sure you will have it done by Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have confidence in me!
DeleteI think you can do these, with your eyes closed :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Maybe!
DeletePretty in pink!
ReplyDeleteYes, and I'm not really a fan of pink. It is growing on me!
DeleteI was feeling a bit 'sad' knowing how you must be feeling about doing things for the 'last' time at school; however, you mention that you signed up for substitute teaching, which very much perked me up. A much easier transition!! You will have the best of both worlds!
ReplyDeleteI've had trouble 'keeping up' with you while you worked full time, so I know you're going to be 'off the charts' in activities pretty soon! You're on the 'launch pad'!!!
I've had a few teary-eyed moments, but I'm pretty sure I will love retirement! I might even wave to the kids on the school bus as it goes by every morning! ;-)
DeleteAnother ? !!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yup... at least one a week! It's keeping me honest! ;-)
Deletep.s. You are going to LOVE having your own time... Get ready!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I will! Maybe I'll even get a passport so I can visit friends abroad. It only takes money, right?
DeleteLooks great in the pink. I shall have to try this pattern one day.
