I do love my Ice Drops in white, but I'm determined to play with color!
This is size 20 Flora #62.
The more I tat with pink, the more I like it!
Here I used size 20 Lizbeth #112, Carousel.
I think the purple ribbon is perfect!
This one is in size 20 Lizbeth #124, Spring Garden.
I'm not sure I chose the right ribbon for this one, but I like it.
I worked some more with Heritage Patterns by Norma Benporath. This is Edging 3, a two shuttle pattern. The suggested size is 40, but since I'm just experimenting, I used the size 20 that was close by. I really like this one!

I have to ask how long it takes you to tat these now!
ReplyDeleteEach one takes about an hour... a quick tat!
ReplyDeletePretty amazing that you can do them that quickly, especially adding beads, too. This is a good way to see the colorways of different threads. One of my favorite threads is Spring Garden. I recognized it right away.
DeleteReally great Ice Drops in color!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat edging!!! :)
I think I still prefer the white because the gem inside really shows, unlike with the both colour combo. But I can attest to the addiction :-D
ReplyDeleteSo many possibilities if you're not confined to white! I do like that edging, it has a sense of movement, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteI do like the sense of movement in this edging! I'm enjoying the color, but I do love the look of the white!
DeletePink-from our Diane whose name is Green? Where is the blue? Another gorgeous NB edging!
ReplyDeleteHaha! My big bowl of blue gems is sitting right in front of me! I am having fun trying out edgings.
