I was subbing in 5th grade again today. I really do like those kids!
When I got home, I finished the Ice Drop I started this morning. I like the two rows of picots. It looks so frilly and it ruffles slightly, which I really like.
Maybe I'll try three rows next!
You're always coming up with clever variations for your Ice Drops! This is sweet and frilly - and good practice for making 'even' picots!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if you're aware that your Ice Drop pattern won Best New Pattern 2017 over at Craftree Awards! Well deserved! You may have been too modest to mention it! It certainly achieved instant 'star status' and you might say went 'viral'! Congratulations!
Nice that you're having fun at school! I'm sure the students enjoy having you there!
Thank you, Kathy! I had no clue! I haven't been on Craftree in a while. With so many blogs to read, I forget to go there. Thank you for letting me know!
DeleteSo pretty!! Ruffles are quite cool sometimes!! :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteOoh, I like the frothy look.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The picots make such a change!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that a few longer picots can make such a difference!
DeleteYour work is beautiful. I love visiting your blog and seeing your beautiful creations. I tried to learn how to tat years ago, but just couldn't seem to get the hang of it. Wish you were here to teach me.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't we have fun? You could teach me to stitch!
DeleteYes I like it, it's looks frilly and very beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margaret!
