Another sub day

I was asked to sub in the morning, which I was happy to do.

During that time, I was able to finish a dishcloth. I really dislike having leftover yarn, so mismatched dishcloths can be found in my stash. I kind of like the funky look!

This afternoon, I altered a costume for one of the girls in the play. Then, I went into school to help daughter Carol put together her Wall of Recognition for family military members from our community. There will be three of these two-sided displays. This particular one will actually be a little different. Carol has already changed the arrangement, but you can get the idea of what she is doing.

I made a little bit of progress on Renulek's Spring Doily 2026. Any progress is good progress!

Getting there!

I'll have the check my list, but I think I only have two ornaments left to tat for friends at school!

I had the most fun at school yesterday.  I subbed for middle school social studies last Friday, and some of the 7th graders wanted to know what I was working on. They were fascinated that I was knitting dishcloths, and some of them asked if they could have one.

I showed up for lunch supervision yesterday, and the kids who were interested each took one dishcloth with the understanding that they would help wash dishes at home. You would have thought I was passing out gold!

Slow craft day

There wasn't much time for crafting today, but I did manage to finish one dishcloth and one hedgehog. I guess I can only really claim the hedgehog for today, because the dishcloth was nearly finished. Still, that's two more completed projects.

There will be very little crafting over the next few days, if any. Why? We're having a wedding here this weekend!

Today we set up the chairs,

the dance floor,

the tents,

and we hung lights. There will be so much more to do tomorrow. The rehearsal will be tomorrow evening, and the wedding will be late afternoon Saturday.

It's going to be a busy weekend!
