Fresh Start
I had to prove to myself that I could start Stella Alpina correctly. So, here it is! I've looked at my tatting and the pattern several times, and I think I finally got it right. I'll quit for tonight and check it again tomorrow before doing any more tatting. This is Altin Basak #381, size 50. I really like working with this color. It's bright and easy on the eyes.

Very pretty! You are one determined librarian!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the color. I think you're going to do just fine. You are very persistent. (I was trying to find a different word, otherwise I'd be quoting Tattycat exactly..LOL)
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors you are using. I had the same thing when doing Konoir's black magic. Luckily it was mostly chains - I had to keep on unravel the chains.
ReplyDeleteLovely eye candy, Diane! Persistance pays off doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty thread!
ReplyDeleteIt is an awesome thread and I look forward to see the doily, very much in deed.
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about reading blogs instead of tatting! I've used up all my "free" time this morning reading blogs and lists. Now I have no tatting time, because I've run smack-dab into cleaning time. If the kids have to do cleaning -- I have to do cleaning. Setting an example and all that.
