Trinity
I completed the last of the three crosses for my mom last night. I really like the way they turned out. If you haven't seen them before, the squared cross is the Basic Cross pattern, and the other two are the Traditional Cross pattern from Tatting Patterns by Lyn Morton. The thread is "Golden Glow", size 20 by Yarnplayer (Marilee Rockley). The ceramic shuttle is from LadyShuttleMaker (Sherry Pence). I'm very pleased that I was able to finish all three crosses in a week's time!

You did a lot of tatting in one week. They are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell, Diane, you are certainly getting back to form! Lovely tatting, girl!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely, lovely stuff - will be in a museum someday, I'm sure! Meanwhile, it is inspiring loads of people today!
ReplyDeleteBTW, you can lighten your photos easily if you have any type of photo adjusting software - maybe some came with your scanner.
Beautiful. Just Beautiful and so quickly. Are you sure you had a broken arm? LOL I know you are pleased and your mom is bound to be. Good work!
ReplyDeleteAmazing work, Diane!
ReplyDeleteLovely crosses! The thread is a very nice color too! Does your arm bother you much when you do that much tatting? Have a great tat week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! It was a lot of tatting for one week. Surprisingly, it didn't bother my arm much. I guess I knew when to stop!
ReplyDeleteLast night I worked on a crocheted edging for a baby blanket. I must have overdone it, because I can really feel my wrist this morning! I think I move my left wrist much more when I crochet.
Maybe I should just stick to tatting for a while!
The crosses are beautiful Diane and I love the thread colour.
ReplyDeleteThey are truly lovely!
ReplyDeleteWell done Diane! I've probably said this before..but it makes me so happy to see you tatting and doing so well! Great work. You were definately among the first to buy my shuttles. The very first shuttle I put up for sale sold to Gina Butler, but you definately win for the greatest number of shuttles.
