My little mermaid has arrived!

Sophia is all ready for the play! Doesn't she look adorable in her Little Mermaid costume? Believe it or not, this is the only picture I took of the kids today, and you can't even see Jan's or Karolina's faces. Luckily, they will be here for three weeks!

Isn't it amazing that my newest Spinning Wheel glass mat matches Sophia's costume? I think this is my new favorite, Lilac Sea from Yarnplayer. I think I may choose another hand-dyed thread for my next Spinning Wheel. I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy tatting with HDT!

  1. Oh, she's so cute. The twins look as if they're 'on the move' now. Double trouble, eh?

  2. Yes it looks like you planned it that way matching outfit and tatting I do love the combination of colors

  3. Sophia looks adorable all dressed up as a mermaid! I thought you must have made your latest Spinning wheel Glass Mat in those colors to match. It is a lovely colorway.

  4. What a fabulous little mermaid!!! :) And such adorable little ones in the background!!!! Looks like a fun time!!! :)
Love the new spinning wheel glass mat!!! :)

  5. Sophia is a cute mermaid! Great costume, and wonderful mat.

  6. Sophia is adorable. And I love the colors in your latest glass mat.

  7. Cute ... pics look colour co-ordinated :-)
MAD magazine used to have a segment called "... and a moment later" (or something like that) and I'm wondering how the scene shaped up a moment after you took Sophie's pic -- see the little twin purposefully crawling towards Sophie ? What happened next ???

    1. Haha! There was cheering at the baseball game on the t.v., and Jan quickly turned around to see what all the noise was about!

  8. You've got an adorable little mermaid there. I think you've had mermaid colors on the brain so much that, of course, you picked mermaid colors for that mat. It is very pretty.

Just like you, I love getting feedback!
