I finally finished round 13 of Renulek's Spring Doily 2025. It should have been done last week, but I made multiple joining mistakes in the last two pattern repeats. My patience was truly tested!
Because I was making so many mistakes, I took some time away from tatting to crochet a couple of turtles for some friends at school. These were so much fun to make!
I hope she brings the finished tree with her the next time she visits.
Janet finished her pearl tree when she was visiting this weekend. I think it's gorgeous!
I have two indicators that tell me it is time to take a break from tatting - repeatedly dropping the shuttle and making numerous mistakes. When either of those strike, I've learned it isn't worth the frustration to fight them but best to just put my tatting down for a couple of days.
