There were eleven staff members out sick today in our little school district. That's a lot! My daughter was one of them, and I was called in to sub for her. I had a half finished dish cloth in my project bag. All of the students were on task and very well behaved, so I was able to sit and knit for most of the day. The result was two finished dish cloths.
I also finished another doodad ornament. I have a basket filled with partially filled shuttles from past projects, and I'm going to see how many of those shuttles I can use in February. I have a goal!

Oh no, I hope they’re all well soon. Love your dishcloths. Ah, emptying shuttles is a worthy goal!
ReplyDeleteI hope they're all well soon, also! I'm getting too old to work all day!
DeleteI didn’t know I needed a purple dishcloth until I saw yours! Lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteI didn't care for the purple on the ball, but knit up it is quite attractive!
DeleteI admire you for subbing. Teaching music always takes so much energy. I could never complete a tatting project while at the school! I do love the purple.
ReplyDeleteThat purple is so pretty!! Careful, Karen and Richard from Tollway Tatters online will want them!! ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat doodad ornament, and I love the shuttle!! :)
