Whip stitch

My sister Janet asked me to send her some photos of whip stitch so that she could see how my quilt blocks are joined together. I've been holding two right sides together, whip stitching on the back side of the blocks.

So far, my stitches don't show on the front side.

The hand stitching helps me ease in any extra fabric if the two blocks aren't exactly even.

So far, so good! I now have three of my eight rows sewn together.

Despite a busy schedule today, I also managed to get some tatting done. I had hoped to get half way around, but it didn't happen. Hopefully, I'll meet the halfway mark tomorrow!

  3. Caspita la trapunta procede super spedita e soprattutto hai davvero una buona mano, non si vedono i punti di raccordo
