Feeling unproductive

Yes, I'm still tatting, but I've been playing so much with my computer that I haven't finished nearly as much as I could have. So, in an attempt to get back to my tatting, I'm sending out a plea for help. You see, last year when I changed the look of my blog, I lost my special badges... Tatted Ring of Bloggers, InTatters, Blog Queen 2009... and I can't figure out how to get them back on my blog. Does anyone out there have any ideas on what I need to do to put them back in their rightful place?

  1. You unproductive?! Pffft. If there's one person that word could never apply to, it's you!

I just looked at my badges. They were all added using the HTML/Javascript gadget. I think to make them clicky links took a bit of trial and error, though. My memory's not too clear on that one. Once I got them to work, I made sure to never mess with them again!

  2. do you have the HTML coding for them? if so you can add a widget in Blogger and paste them in. It should be under the layout tab on your blog, then 'add gadget'

    hope this helps!

  5. Unfortunately, I can't help you there! I'm still too intimidated to put anything 'extra' in my blog, and I applaud those of you who venture into 'HTML-Land'.

This morning (and afternoon) Blogger itself went a bit goofy and wasn't showing photos on ANYONE's blog (or allowing people to upload photos)! Neither of my computers was displaying the photos, so I suspected it was a Blogger/Picasa problem (it was), and it wasn't resolved until about 4 pm EDT.

I agree with Steph that you could never be unproductive!

  6. If you didn't copy/paste the html for each badge before you changed your background, you'll need to go find the html again and add them again. Some backgrounds will automatically save your widgets, but most won't. I learned this the hard way! LOL
