Joanne's hanky

I finished Joanne's wedding hanky this afternoon! I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. Now I have to get back to the kumihimo braid for her bag. Time's a-wastin'!

  1. Gorgeous piece of work, Diane. Just perfect.

I think you should keep this photo away from Sally and 'Im in the Garage... that block of wood looks hugely tempting and the world does need many more Pop-A Bobbins, to be sure!

  3. Your list of things to do is making my head spin! Thanks so much for taking the time to show us the beautiful hanky! A very elegant edging indeed!

I was amused to read about your reason for going on a buying spree! I thought I was the only one who did that kind of thing! Good for you - and wise purchases!

  4. Good gracious! Between you and Tatskool (who also posted a photo of a wedding hanky) I am positively swooning.

Your lacework is truly rare and stunningly beautiful. The bride will love and cherish it forever.

  6. Isn't there a kind of special feeling when you've made something like this that you know will become an heirloom and stay in the family? Lovely edging!
