The Original Sewing and Quilting Expo

Daughter Alison and I attended The Original Sewing and Quilting Expo today, trying to get some inspiration. It worked!

First, we found the Sulky display, and I chose 12 beautiful new threads! This time I purchased 12 wt. The Sulky Blendables I've been working with is 30 wt. I'm really looking forward to tatting with these gorgeous threads!

A couple of aisles over we found a display of King Tut threads. Of course I just had to have a few!

I think I'm going to be busy for quite a while! : )

  1. Fun!! I can't wait to see that Olive Tree worked up (#4089)... those look like fun threads. So much so that I just had to look up the names :o)

  2. WOW! :o) I just had a crazy epiphany. This whole time you've been showing these wonderful threads, I've been reading "bendables". I kept thinking, "that really is a silly name for thread". But, it has an "l" tucked in there. I get it now. Blend-able not bendy
I do that more than I care to admit...

  3. Delicious threads for your beautiful tatting motifs.

  4. Oh my Diane! You must have very good eyesight to be to be tatting with these. I struggle trying to tat with black, even in large sizes, :(

Go work your magic with these!

  5. I need to move to where you live :)

  6. I'm soooooo jealous. :) Lucky you to be able to see before buying!

Just like you, I love getting feedback!
