Sulky Blendables #4002 ~ Buttercream

While waiting for loads of laundry today, I managed to tat two more Stumpy motifs, this time in Sulky Blendables #4002. You're looking at the top side of another shuttle decorated by my friend Jenny... very appropriate for a librarian!

I really like the back side of this shuttle. I sing a song with the pre-schoolers at the beginning of each library class...

I love books, and they love me.
I get them free at the library.
Read them once.
Read them twice.
Library books are oh so nice.
See ya at the library!

And now I have another set of shuttle-shaped motifs to send off to Chris Hinton at The Shuttle Shop to be shuttle-fied!

  1. Your tatting in #80 is very tasty, Diane! Lovely, even stitches. I am nervous to go back to mine after all the #40 I am now accustomed to!
    Fox : )

  2. Wow, so envious of your stumpy-s going to be shuttles! Now I think I wanna to try the very small threads too. :)

  3. I love books, too! While I miss the feel of the book, audio books are fitting in well with my busy lifestyle. Our library offers a nice selection of those, too.

  4. How tiny is this thread? Is it really comparable to size 80? If so I'd like to give it a try. There are so many colors!! And I have a Joann's coupon!!!!!!!

  5. Those are beautiful colors too. Cool shuttle.

  6. Beautiful. I cannot imagine tatting with this varigated thread. I can barely sew with this in my machine. Simply lovely! Blissful tatting...

  7. I like your reading song. That is a neat shuttle, it fits you for sure.

Just like you, I love getting feedback!
