Doily VI, Round 1

This is my newest project, Doily VI from Tatted Treasures by Jan Stawasz. I'm using size 20 Lizbeth #168, Latte Foam. Round 1 went smoothly until I reached the last ring. For some reason, I had trouble getting it to work, and the last inside ring looks a little squished. If anyone else has tatted this doily and has any tips, I'd love to hear them!

Looks great! I like the thread. And the way the rings in the second round go in an unexpected direction.

I too can not see anything out of the ordinary. I like how the second row is joined.

I also tatted this part of the doily on page 39. I'm using it for a decoration on a birthday card. I didn't have any problems. I think yours look just fine. (Maybe you just pulled the ring a bit tighter when you closed it.) Can't wait to see your finished doily!
