Tatting Together Square Motifs edited by Iris Niebach
Tatting Together Square Motifs is the result of a tatting course taught by Iris in Denmark. The challenge was create "a square motif in only one round or more rounds without interruption"... a very difficult challenge, in my humble opinion! Twelve very talented tatters contributed to this book.
I hope my little reviews inspire you to try at least one of Iris's patterns. Iris, thank you for publishing your lovely books and for providing me with hours of pure pleasure!

All of these posts are fantastic! You are so blessed to have all of these books and you did a good job reviewing them. Iris needs to hire you as her publicist!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great little book as well. I keep wondering if I could attach any of the motifs to any other. One of these days I'm going to sit down and figure that out!
ReplyDeleteI think your book reviews are great. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love Iris' books! I'm on vacation for the next two weeks, so I do believe I'll be diving into this book headfirst. The difficulty of her patterns make me take my time and has helped improve my tatting since I started working through her books.
ReplyDeleteWonderful reviews Diane! I've had my eye on the squares book. I may just have to get it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the helpful reviews.
ReplyDeleteYes it is a nice little book with some interesting designs in it.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is good to know I am not the only tatter around in this country, giggle.
Thank you SO much. The next step, is buying the book - most likely the square book. Most of my *doilies* that I have crocheted in the past are square (shows that I am an engineer at heart - and what I am now at work).
ReplyDeleteGreat article with excellent idea!Thank you for such a valuable article. I really appreciate for this great information..
