Spinning Wheel Display

Pamela asked me if I would take a picture of all my Spinning Wheels together, so here they are! I made two others last year, but I obviously put them some place very safe... I can't find them!

How long does it take YOU to tat the Spinning Wheel pattern? I'd love to hear from all of you who have tatted this design. It takes me about an hour for each spoke or arm of the pattern. There are 9 spokes, so approximately 9 hours... if I don't have to retro-tat!

I think I'm a very slow tatter, especially after watching videos of others tatting. I don't care how long it takes, though... it's my way of relaxing!

  1. Thanks Diane they look fab, I am going to have to go back and tat this correctly!! in just one HDT colour.

I think it took me at least 3 evenings, I will time the next one.

  2. Wow, look at all those tatted pieces together! Nice work, Diane. That is something to be proud of.

  3. They all look awesome together! I'm not sure how long it took me to make one. I'll have to time myself next I make the pattern.

  4. That is the most important thing - yourself. Don't let the others rush you on any project.

  5. Yup I agree with that, too much tatting is bad for the health!

  6. It is so lovely seeing them all in the same picture, thanks for doing it. I do not know if you are a slow tatter when you can do this in 9 hours (have not tatted it myself) but it is not a matter of speed but to enjoy doing it.

  7. These look great together!
If I get around to tatting this pattern I will let you know.
With all the tatting you have been sharing lately, I am thinking that you are a pretty FAST tatter.

Just like you, I love getting feedback!
