First snow

We had our first snow this morning! I know it's not much, but I love snow no matter how little there is. It was the perfect way to start Christmas in the Village!

It was not a terrific sales day.

However, I did meet some very nice people, and I had the opportunity to discuss tatting!

I even gave my contact information to another vendor who is interested in learning to tat!

No, I did not sell much, but I had a wonderful day, and...

I have five Ice Drop laden trees decorating my home! The branches aren't full, so I think I'll tat some more!

  1. Such pretties ! The journey was exciting and fulfilling and the eagerness to create more is still there. So I think it's still a win :-)

    1. It was definitely a win! I enjoyed myself and met new people. I tend to stick to myself, so when I have a positive experience with others I feel wonderful!

  2. A shame you didn’t have a lot of sales, but you had fun and advertised tatting, so that’s all good.

  3. Pity you did not a lot of sales but as you had a good day then that's all the better, sometimes it's showing what you can do and people taking an interest is better than just sitting with no one walking around.
It's snowing here at the moment, parts of England and Wales have a lot of snow at the moment with two airports closed. If you would like some more we can send it over.

  5. I find snow is the great equalizer. Many people in my part of the world disagree though. It covers the remains of a yard too difficult to perfect at season's end!

Wish sales had been better but I'm so happy you found positives from it. Nothing better than finding people interested in tatting!
