Tatting through the day...

A little here, a little there, and then...

another doodad snowflake is finished! This is Doodad Snowflake #2, again in Navy Greens from Jess! I'm not sure, but I think I may have enough for one more snowflake.

I used little bits of tatting time as a reward for accomplishments today, and I've accomplished quite a bit...

cut out fabric for 12 Origami pouches
cleaned the kitchen
finished the grocery shopping
washed the sheets
made the beds...

I wonder what else I can accomplish today?

Early morning tatting

For the first time EVER, I have the day before Thanksgiving off! So, you'd think I'd enjoy sleeping in, right? Wrong! I was up at 4:30 this morning. It was too early to do much, so I enjoyed my morning coffee with Dave, helped him with a little paperwork, and began tatting. Not a bad way to start the day...

I completed Doodad Snowflake #6 using size 40 Navy Greens HDT by Jess! I do love this color combo.

Now that I have some daylight, I guess I should tackle those dust bunnies... they're taking over!

Doodad Snowflake #4 ~ Navy Greens

I do love working with hand-dyed threads, and Navy Greens from Jess looks great as a snowflake! Say you agree... pretty please?

Navy Greens Spinning Wheel

I wouldn't want anyone to think I'd forgotten about my favorite pattern...

Spinning Wheel glass mat from Tatting with Visual Patterns by Mary Konior. The thread is Navy Greens from Jess! She hand dyed it especially for my daughter Alison.

I do love the colors in this thread! Will you be dyeing any more of this, Jess? I think it's a winner!

My favorite!

At least it's my favorite so far! I love the Blue Ice Lizbeth thread... perfect for a Santaflake!

Here's the close-up you asked for IsDihara!

This is my current Spinning Wheel glass mat (my favorite pattern from Tatting with Visual Patterns by Mary Konior). The thread is Navy Greens, hand-dyed by Jess for my daughter Alison. I just love the color combination! When Jess sent the thread, I quickly scanned her note and thought I saw Nancy Green... my mom's name! You can bet I did a double-take when I saw that one!
