I couldn't help myself... this doily is like popcorn... I just can't stop! Yes, I've already started another. I'm gearing up for school, so I'm not sure how long it will take me, but I promise to post a picture!

Is this going to be the new spinning wheel glass mat?

How pretty! How big is it?
Oh, and...arrrrggghhh...one more thing to add to the ever growing "things to do" list.

Right -- read and comprehend BEFORE asking questions! Thanks for putting all the information needed right there in your post!

Hmmm...purple popcorn doesn't sound appetizing, but your doily sure is brillant and beautiful! :)

I just love the colour but then Purple is my favourite colour and I reckon I'll have to make one soon!!!!

Very pretty in this shade as the pattern really shows up well.

My pattern is now printed and first in the queue!

I must admit that at first glance I thought this was an intriguing doily, but one that needed a bit of negative space to give the eye a break.

However, tatted in that gorgeous deep purple, I am totally smitten.

Alas, it will have to wait until after Tat Days. I hate waiting...

P.S. Miranda's question has also crossed my mind. Your thoughts?

As much as I love this pattern, it will never take the place of Mary Konior's Spinning Wheel glass mat. There's something so soothing about that pattern... it swirls; it lends itself so well to HDT; I have the pattern memorized... I could go on and on. I am smitten!

You are really tatting a beautiful doily here. It looks like hours and hours of work. Happy tatting...
