I'm determined to make use of tatting books that I peruse, but don't seem to use!
This is one pattern repeat of the edging "Astrid" from Tatting Patterns and Designs by Gun Blomqvist and Elwy Persson. The thread is Oren Bayan size 50, color #090. I believe I incorrectly identified this thread as Altin Basak in previous posts. The flat shuttle is another from my Grizzly Mountain Arts collection, and if there's anyone who doesn't own a Clover shuttle, they are a must-have item for any tatting basket, in my humble opinion!

That edging is beautiful and I love the color! All I have is clover shuttles. :)ReplyDelete
Lovely Edging and I also have Clover Shuttles?ReplyDelete
First tatting book I ever bought, and I LOVE it!ReplyDelete
I love tatting patterns, but when life gets in my way, I go back to this book as my comfort tatting.
My copy has split in half. I am going to have to go to the office supply store and see if they can spiral bind it for me!
Love your thread color!
Have an awesome day!
Hmmmm, I guess I only have 2 or 3 tatting books I have never used...slowly working my way through the larger pile of bobbin lace books...but added a couple more to the pile this week...Still love the spinning wheel mat the best but this is gorgeous...would make a lovely edge to jazz up a little GD's dress...I wonder...ReplyDelete
