I love thread crochet! I do crochet with yarn, but only out of necessity. I'm fascinated by Irish crochet, and my favorite crochet designer is Patricia Kristoffersen. Her dimensional doilies are challenging and unbelievably beautiful!
I am also obsessed with beautiful tools! A couple of years ago, my friend Denise told me about Tulip crochet hooks. We were both looking for the hooks with the gold tips, and I found a set! It's not complete, but I have 18 gold tipped hooks, and let me tell you, they are fabulous! Who knew that a touch of gold would make it easier to crochet?
Anyway, while on my quest, I found and won a box of size 6 Tulip hooks on eBay. These are older, and are not gold tipped. However, they do have a metal tip protector. I know crochet hooks don't take up a lot of space, but do I really need a dozen size 6 crochet hooks? No!
So, my question is, would you like to own one of these? I'm going to give away six of them now, and maybe I'll give some more away later... I just can't bear to part with all of them at once! If you'd like a chance at one, leave a comment on this post. I'll draw six names on Tuesday, August 17. That way, I can get them packed up and mailed off before school starts on Thursday.
P.S. - Attention tatters... they're great for joining picots if you're using a shuttle without a hook or tip!
I'm a retired elementary computer teacher/librarian, mother to four, grandmother to seven. I love lace. I love books. I love to collect. Now that I'm retired, I know I'll never be bored because I have so many interests, as well as the goodies I need to indulge my whims!
