Tollway Tatters

I know it's late notice, but Sue Anna and I decided early this morning that we need a dose of tatting companionship. We've decided to meet this Saturday, January 18, at the Hinsdale Oasis on 294. If you're in the Chicago metropolitan area this weekend and would like to join us, we'd love to meet you for some tatting and chatting! We meet at 10:00 a.m. and leave when the spirit moves us. Email me for details if you'd like to attend and need more information.

  3. I was just thinking of the group the other day and was going to email you about the next gathering. So sad that I will be out of town this weekend! Have a wonderful day, I hope to be there next time.

  4. Just wanted you to know that I actually "googled" driving directions to Illinois. Twelve hours from my little corner of Tat Land. Ouch! Wishing I lived closer so I could come apologize in person and bring Ciarran for some leprechaun hijinx.

  5. I got quite a chuckle that you'd like to visit me to see how to shape items! You just need a form, like a Styrofoam bell, to get a nice shape for them. I do have some tips which I hope to share on my blog. I have always wanted to visit you to see your huge shuttle collection and all those special cabinets! I would also love to visit with the Tollway tatters! If only we could step into the Transporter, like in Star Trek!

  6. I'll be thinking about all of you while remembering the GREAT visit I had this summer. The few hours that we spent tatting and talking are memories I will long remember! Have a fun time. Hope I can join you, once again sometime in the future.

  7. Beautiful HDT by marilee!!! And lovely flat shuttle. I have one & confess have not tried to tat with it. I like to look at it ; )

The Sunlit was a nice shuttle when I tried it. I thought the pic would be a challenge to use, but it wasn't. I can see why the children you instruct enjoy them.

I had a little something for all the T.Tatters, will save for next time. Maybe after the wrath of Mother Nature who continues to show off her oodles of perfect snowflakes!
