Something to blog about...

I finally have something to blog about!

The doctor said I could go back to work when I felt like it. Two weeks at home gave me sufficient rest, but I was amazed at how ready I was for a nap when I returned home!

While at school, I managed to do a little bit of tatting. It seems like forever since I've worked on Tat-a-Renda's Harmony tat-along. I know I haven't gotten far, but I count every ring and chain as a victory lap!

Tim of Tim Tats Too! emailed me last week to say he was sending a little something in the mail. Isn't it adorable? It will hold my spool of King Tut thread when I'm tatting. Tim loves to tat with King Tut. In fact, it seems he seldom tats with anything else!

I also love King Tut for tatting. The colors are glorious, and I love working with the super fine thread. I've been trying to use up my stash of size 20 Lizbeth before moving on to my King Tut. After this appendicitis scare, I've decided that if I want to tat with King Tut, I will! Why do I have to wait to use up something else?

I do need to venture upstairs to access my King Tut. Maybe I'll leave that for tomorrow!

Thank you, Tim! I know I will put my new spool holder to good use!
