Only one today

I let myself get involved in too many projects today.

As a result, I only managed to tat one pattern repeat on the Jan Stawasz Masterpiece. I really need to take my pictures when there is still some light. I can't seem to avoid shadows!

I was up pretty early today, so I finished up some more crocheted button flowers.

I also worked on Renulek's tat-along doily.

I was on the phone for quite a while after school, so I crocheted some more button flowers!

My stretchy headbands arrived in the mail today, so my afternoon buttons are now sewn on to the headbands. I'll be taking them to school tomorrow. I want to see how they look on kids!

  1. You got farther than I did on my doilies! :) I was busy on the phone most of today(what an awful way to spend my snowed-in day), either way we are still in a winter storm warning with another 6-10 inches expected through tomorrow so just maybe I will actually get some tatting done. :)
Love the pretty flowers and they look fabulous on those headbands!! :)

    1. We're not expecting any snow. How do you keep up with the shoveling? We're off today because of the cold, but I'm feeling kind of lazy. I wonder how much I'll actually get done?

  2. I was wondering what you were going to use all those pretty buttons for and that is a great idea, those head bands are so soft they will look nice. You are plugging away at the big one fine and steady. I got to pace my self better, I just stopped and continued with something else and I only have a little bit left to finish this round, an just put it of totally, maybe tomorrow :)

  3. beautiful tatting! and I adore the buttons. I have tried to crochet them a couple of times without much success, so, i will try again in a day or two. I have a hard time picking up the space for the crochet hook --- yeah, i know, practice, practice, practice

    1. You might want to try practicing some straight crocheting before tackling the buttons, just to get the hang of making the stitches. Can you imagine trying to learn to tat and starting right out with buttons? :-)
