I really don't think I'll be making any more of these little crochet baskets. The tutorial I followed was excellent, but crocheting with dishcloth cotton is very hard on my hands. I think I'll save my dishcloth cotton for dishcloths!
It is cute. I guess it would need to be made in rather stiff cotton so that it stands up like that. Bit useless if it collapsed in a heap. Ah well, not all experiments work.
Must admit I’ve never tried crocheting with dishcloth cotton unless it’s been a small pot holder. Could it be the quality of the yarn that didn’t help?
