One strip done!

 

We had a beautiful day today! Mom spent the day reading and knitting in her favorite spot. She was telling my brother about the castor bean plant growing outside of her window. David asked that we send a picture. He was surprised at the size of the plant. Dave had planted a couple of castor beans out by our fire pit last year, but they didn't grow this tall!

I worked on my quilt and finished the first strip. I'm making progress in learning how to join the ends of the binding strips. I actually finished two blocks in a row with no mistakes!
