I only managed to tat one ornament today. I like the offset circle in the donut. It seems to put the ornament in motion! This is the December 8 button ornament with seven picots. This one may be a keeper!
I admit that I was not pleased when I first saw that some of the donuts were not "perfect." I've found that the donuts that are asymmetrical are actually easier to work with. I start near the thinner part, and I'm able to tat around them without the thread slipping. Plus, the outside is a nice circle. I'm learning to look past what I perceive as imperfection!
