Cold day

The weather turned really cold here, so Dave went out and harvested carrots... 11 quarts of carrots are now in the freezer. That's a lot of carrots!

We reached a high of 21º today, the coldest day we've had so far. It was the perfect day to sit and crochet. I'm now halfway through the second section of daughter Carol's 12 Step Sampler Blanket. Working on it kept me toasty warm!

  1. You have carrots for a long time! My problem with freezing produce is that I forget to actually use it. Your crochet is going at speed.

    1. I also forget, especially since Dave doesn't like me going down to the basement where the freezer is located. I like working in stripes. I know about how long each row is going to take!
