I spent yesterday hand sewing seam binding onto this adorable monkey quilt. I love giving these as baby gifts. They're practical, and they come in so many wonderful prints.
I haven't finished my morning coffee yet, so I haven't decided whether to work on another baby quilt or get back to Elizabeth. I'll know in a few more sips!

DeleteSo, is this a panel that you make into a quilt, or have you appliqued all that monkey business?
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a pre-quilted panel. All I do is trim off the selvages, round the corners, and add bias binding. It's super simple, just a little time consuming. I have tried appliqué, but this is meant to be used and abused!
