I just finished the fourth pattern repeat of my first border! I only have seven repeats to go before I start decreasing.
Mom has finished her first border. It measures 55" on the outside edge. She has already made a good start on the second border, and she's talking about a second shawl! I have a feeling she will finish her second shawl right around the time I finish my first one!
Looks wonderful! Is it very hard?
ReplyDeleteNo. The pattern is very easy to follow, especially since I use the recommended highlighting tape to keep my place on the chart. The most difficult part is the knit 3 together, and I'm getting pretty good at that!

ReplyDeleteYes, this pattern has several charts. The border has three separate charts for the increase, the middle section, and the decrease. There are separate charts for the bridge section and the center of the shawl. It's all very well organized!
